Here s a wonderfully sparkling 1940 s Whiting & Davis gold mesh formal purse in unused excellent to mint condition. 

It measures 8 inches in length by 7 inches in height.  It has a gold tone chain that has a 5 inch drop from the top frame of the purse. 

A great size that could easily hold your cell phone, wallet and other essentials.  It has a kiss clasp closure that works perfectly, and a gold tone chain handle.  The interior lining is cleaned and has the original Whiting & Davis tag, as well as two small pockets for cards or smaller items.  It s a very heavy and well made purse.  The shiny gold frame has a pretty snow flake embossed design.  It comes with the original double sided mirror that has some age related haze.
