Description

Here is a pretty pair of hallmarked 12Kt SHUR_ON gold filled late 1800 s Victorian ladies Pince Nez eyeglasses or spectacles with an attached chain and hairpin or hair clip. They re in great condition, but they do have a very tiny flake on the top edge of one of the lenses that is hard to see.

The glasses measure approximately 4 inches across and 1 1 4 inches in height. The chain is 8 inches in length and the hairpin is about 2 1 2 inches in length. The lenses are clear and free from any scratches. 

This lovely pair of women s Pince Nez eyeglasses would make a great addition to someone s collection of antique vanity display items, and are still very usable, with excellent clear viewing lenses. Hallmarked 12K GF SHUR-ON on the underside of the bridge. The case is black leather covered metal with a purple velvet lining, and is in great condition. It s hallmarked with the doctors name of David Wald, Schuster s, Milwaukie, Wisconsin.
