Description

A beautiful 1920 s Nippon powder jar or box and hair receiver vanity set in fabulous condition; with no cracks or crazing. The only issue we could find is one tiny pin point imperfection in the lid of the powder jar that is a manufacturing flaw, but barely noticeable, as well as some very slight gold gild wear that was so common with these old pieces.

They are both hallmarked with the Nippon mark on the base of each piece; and both have beautiful hand painted raised flowers on a pure white porcelain base. Touches of gold gilt enhance this lovely set.

Each piece measures approximately 4 inches in diameter by 3 inches in height.
