This is a lovely and rare 1920 s Richard Hudnut Deauville powder and rouge compact wristlet purse that comes in the original beautiful silk covered display box.

It s in excellent condition, with no damage; and has a blank cartouche for engraving.  It opens with a push of the button on the front to reveal a covered loose powder compartment, with the original puff.  The clear glass flip up mirror is also in excellent condition, and when lifted reveals the rouge compartment with original rouge and powder puff.  Both puffs are in excellent condition.  The pretty bar and link chain has a blue tassel attached.  The tassel has some slight fading of color.  The silk lined box is in fabulous condition; both inside and out. 

This is truly a wonderful treasure to add to your own collection. This piece is also perfect for gifting.
