Description

This is a gorgeous vintage 1930 s hexagon Houbigant powder, rouge and mirror compact in the original box.

The lid has a beautiful painted floral basket on what appears to be lacquered wood, and finished off with brass trim.

It opens to double compartments, one for powder and the other under the flip up mirror is for rouge, there is a slight amount of the original powder and rouge remaining.

The original floral basket embroidered powder puff remains, and is in excellent condition.

Closed the piece measures 2 inches in diameter by about 1 1 2 inches in thickness.

This compact is in wonderful condition, the hinges and closure work perfectly.

The mirror does have some very slight haze, as can be viewed in our photos.

The original display or gift box has some slight wear, but still displays beautifully.
