Description

This is a stunning 1920 s Whiting & Davis silver tone mesh gate top purse, beggars bag or accordion purse in excellent condition.

It has lovely shiny silver mesh and a pretty etched lid, with no rust, corrosion, dents or dings.

The interior lining has no rips or repairs, just a few light stains near the bottom of the bag. The bag is hallmarked with the original Whiting & Davis tag.

It measures approximately 7 inches from the lid to the bottom, and has a nice chain handle that is also in good condition, and the gate opens to about 5 inches in diameter.  This is the larger sized bag with a small pocket inside.

A gorgeous purse that would work well for a wedding or special occasion, and a great piece to add to your purse collection.
